Yes, the motion detector we use will work with two 60 lb dogs or one 85 lb dog.
No, our standard package communicates with the monitoring station through a telephone landline. If you don't have one, we can install a Wifi Communicator, which will communicate with the monitoring station via your high speed Internet.
Yes, the panel communicates with the sensors wirelessly.
Our systems are meant to be professionally monitored. That's how they are programmed. If you've cancelled your subscription, you can reactivate it at any time. Just contact us through our website.

Yes, the sensors run off batteries and the panel has a rechargeable backup battery that last for four hours.
The door/window contact sensor's battery should last up to 6 years; the motion detector's battery should last from 6 to 8 years; and the key fob's battery should last up to 5 years. You can change these yourself, or we can do it for you. The panel's battery pack should be changed every four years and must be replaced by a qualified service technician. The door/window contact sensor takes one Panasonic battery (CR1632); the motion detector takes one Panasonic battery (CR132A); the key fob takes one Maxell battery (CR2032) or one Duracell battery (DL2032).
